Aurelio Colodrero, appointed new Director of Operations of Metalcaucho

Colodrero will control and optimize all internal processes, focusing on speed, quality and efficiency in customer service

The new executive of the company has worked in operations for more than five years in the Desigual logistics platform in Gavá and, subsequently, in Viladecans

Metalcaucho, the leading European supplier of aftermarket spare parts in rubber and metal for the automotive sector, has appointed Aurelio Colodrero as the company’s new Director of Operations. Colodrero, a graduate in Physics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and with a postgraduate degree in Operations, Logistics and Quality Management from the National University of Distance Education (UNED), has developed much of his career in the logistics sector.

In this sense, the new Director of Operations of Metalcaucho has held positions of responsibility in this sector in renowned companies such as Desigual, where he has worked in operations for more than five years in the logistics platform that this company has in Gavá and, subsequently, in which it has located in Viladecans. He was previously the stock controller of the Desigual warehouse in Gava and logistics administrator of the Swiss company Clariant.

Its new stage in Metalcaucho goes through directing the operations of its warehouse, from the entrance of the raw material to the arrival to the client, and by the management of the work team formed by more than 50 operators. Control and optimize all internal processes, focusing on speed, quality and efficiency in customer service, are the key aspects of his new position at Metalcaucho. This is what Aurelio Colodrero has said: “Metalcaucho is a very important professional challenge for me. It’s a very competitive sector in which speed and quality of customer service prevail, so, in this sense we have to be the best”.

Colodrero, who has also been deputy head of Production Manager in Koipe, holds the title of Warehouse Logistics Management of ICIL and is a Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention. Currently he continues to expand his training with the completion of a postgraduate degree in Business Management taught by the UNED.
