Workers of Barcelona company donate food, toys and books
Metalcaucho, leading European supplier of aftermarket spare parts in rubber and metal for the automotive sector, has once again collaborated, for the third consecutive year, with the Associació Educativa Itaca in its campaign to collect food, toys and books. The Barcelona-based company, which is part of the American group BBB Industries, is very proud of its work team, which in recent years has contributed its grain of sand of solidarity during the Christmas season with its donations.
The Associació Educativa Itaca is a non-profit organization in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), which since 1976 has been dedicated to the leisure education of children and young people in the neighborhood in situations of child poverty or social exclusion. In Spain, the rate affects 28,3 % of children (2,2 million). Thus, more than a quarter of children in Spain grow up in poverty; considering risks that affect their health, food and education options.
Metalcaucho has always wanted to collaborate in this type of campaigns and acts of solidarity, such as blood donations, collection of food, toys and books, or a campaign with Doctors Without Borders.
We have been creating spare parts and rubber and metal accessories for the automotive industry for more than 30 years, working with virtually all the international brands.
