The good work of Metalcaucho, as the leading European supplier of metal and rubber aftermarket spare parts in the automotive sector, has not gone unnoticed for the Independent Workshops of the Industrial Vehicle. That is why last Thursday, November 21, at IFEMA, Metalcaucho won the Quality and Service Award to the Rubber and Metal Brand that Surprises of the Automotive Aftermarket 2019. These awards are chosen by vote from the Spanish workshops of Industrial Vehicle. The universe of reference is the 1,773 workshops consigned by the Study on Workshops of I.V., with a sample of 257 interviews, and conducted in 2018 by The Hub Automotive Insights.
The person in charge of collecting the prize was Mikel Equiza, Chief Salces Officer of Metalcaucho, and who explained that this award “supposes a boost to the work that from Metalcaucho we are carrying out from the product and quality department, where we continuously verify and homologate new part numbers, many of them launched exclusively”. In addition, he wanted to emphasize that this does not occur by random, but because of “the great investment made by the company in recent years, especially in a new laboratory of Quality, with a qualified team of engineers and machinery of latest generation, is giving its fruits and this award confirms it”. And finally, he didn’t forget the work of all those responsible for this award, since he wanted to “thank the entire Customer Service and Logistics workteam for the good work they do to meet the needs of our customers and always try to exceed their expectations”.
These awards are based on a study conducted by Posventa Plural, and one of its conclusions is that, in general, Spanish workshops value the quality and service of spare parts and equipment brands above the price. In this regard Metalcaucho has highlighted, because of the hand of very competitive prices, the Barcelona brand offers great quality in its products, which has surprised professionals in a sector that is usually very loyal to brands.
Thus, Metalcaucho has been making a dent among the preferences of the Industrial Vehicles workshops. The parameters that have been taken into account for this award are the perceived quality of the product, which includes values such as technical solvency, innovation and its intangible attributes.
As for the service, they are the added values of the brand that facilitate the professional performance of the workshop, such as technical information, marketing tools or catalog manageability. This last point is key in Metalcaucho, since it has the European benchmark catalog in rubber and metal product families, with almost 20,000 part numbers, for more than 2,800 vehicle models, from 89 different brands. Metalcaucho offers one of the best working tools for mechanics, an iconic catalog in the sector, well organized, always under review and increasing, and with useful information such as the almost 1,500 schemes, where spare parts are displayed within the complex environment of the vehicle, facilitating the identification of the parts.
We have been creating spare parts and rubber and metal accessories for the automotive industry for more than 30 years, working with virtually all the international brands.
