BBB Industries continues european expansion and enters Germany with its acquisition of MAPCO

Metalcaucho, as the company that leads the new acquisitions of the American industrial giant in Europe, collaborates in the integration of MAPCO into the group

Metalcaucho, european leading supplier of aftermarket spare parts in rubber and metal for the automotive sector, continues to collaborate in the European expansion plan of BBB Industries, company of which is a part. BBB, leading American company in the remanufacturing industry for the automotive aftermarket, announced that it has acquired MAPCO Autotechnik GmbH (« MAPCO »). This is BBB’s fifth acquisition in Europe since 2019. With this acquisition, BBB enters Germany and continues to expand into new product categories and geographies.

Founded in 1977, MAPCO is based in Brück Germany and specializes in the design and distribution of a wide range of nondiscretionary spare parts and accessories to the automotive aftermarket, from Alpha Romeo to Volvo. MAPCO has nine regional centers across Germany to serve its car parc of over 50 million vehicles.

Through its principal facility in Brück, along with operations in France and the United Kingdom, MAPCO serves the entirety of Europe. The company offers 53 product families across five product segments: steering/suspension parts, brakes, drive train/bearings, engine environment/filters, and electric/accessories.
