The Sant Cugat team sponsored by Metalcaucho manages to finish a rough Panda Raid

Great example of overcoming the 2 team cars

BBB Industries’ (BBB) brand, Metalcaucho, a leading European supplier of aftermarket spare parts in rubber and metal for the automotive sector, is proud to once again contribute its grain of sand to a solidarity project such as the Panda Raid race. Through the Sant Cugat team, which it has sponsored in previous editions, Metalcaucho collaborates with this amateur rally committed to the natural and social environment.

In this edition the team was formed by two cars, one with Joan Molinera and Toni Massó, and another tandem formed by Ubald De Azpiazu and Josep Keldenich.

Ubald de Azpiazu, at the end of the race he emphasized that he kept with “the most human part of the desert raids. On the fifth stage, while waiting for 5 hours for the support car, we received the visit of some children who were very happy when we gave them water and some pens. Seeing the expression of satisfaction of these children for something so simple was my victory in this edition”.

In this solidarity race, Metalcaucho see reflected some of the values that have led the brand to become benchmark brands in the sector:

• Initiative and creativity: It’s in extreme situations that the ability to adapt to change and make quick decisions comes to the fore.
• Teamwork: The objective in this race is not to win, but to enjoy and test yourself, with a common goal, to finish it. That is why solidarity is a constant, as when towing another participant to the finish line, because they don’t see each other as rivals, but as companions.
• Circular economy: The organization collaborates in the construction and development of a bioclimatic school for children in Ait Ahmed, as well as in the promotion of beekeeping and the maintenance of biodiversity in the forest of Mesguina.
